Telos EVO TR2 | Bikepack

The most packable tent for bike touring

Bikepacking tents are usually a compromise – either they're too heavy, too cramped, or they pack into awkward shapes that don't fit anywhere sensible on a bike. The Telos EVO TR2 Bikepack version fixes that last problem with shorter pole sections and framebag-friendly stuff sacks that actually fit where you need them to go. Sea to Summit's Tension Ridge architecture lifts the tent shape upwards and outwards, which means you get proper headroom and taller doors instead of the usual crawl-in-and-curl up routine. The updated Apex vent now has a waterproof zipper and closeable air scoops, adding versatility for mixed weather use. At 1.51kg minimum trail weight for a two-person tent, it's light enough for any three-season bikepacking trip. Plus, the recycled Ultra-Sil LS ripstop fabric dries faster and pitches tighter than previous versions, and proven DAC Featherlite NFL poles won't let you down halfway through a tour.

    • Tension Ridge architecture provides usable head-and-shoulder space
    • Compact pole sections designed for framebag-friendly packing
    • Updated Apex vent with waterproof zipper and closeable air scoops
    • Recycled Ultra-Sil LS ripstop fabric reduces water absorption

  • What is it that attracts us to the idea of adventure? For Sea to Summit, it’s about freedom and self-reliance – the ability not just to survive, but to thrive in any environment. But although the brand takes its gear seriously, it does so with trademark Aussie humour and blunt, no bullsh*t candour. That’s the way it’s always been, ever since founder Roland Tyson made his first outdoor gear on an old industrial sewing machine in his childhood bedroom back in 1983, at the age of 17. Soon he was designing and manufacturing equipment for other Australian adventurers – and in 1991, he outfitted an unusual first ascent of Everest, in the form of a 1,126 kilometre journey from sea level to the mountain’s 8,848-metre summit. The name Sea to Summit was born.

In 1993, Roland was joined by Penny Sanderson, another Aussie explorer and innovator. Their designs were honed on their adventures, as they spent months climbing, sailing, trekking, overlanding and biking. Nearly thirty years later, Sea to Summit is still 100% Aussie owned and operated, and still putting painstakingly designed gear into the hands of customers worldwide.
